Update on New Authors & Releases

We have a number of important projects in the pipeline for 2015 (and 2016) and while we want to remain ‘silent’ on some of them until a bit later in the year we want to share details on two of our forthcoming books:

Chthonic Gnosis
Ludwig Klages and his Quest for the Pandaemonic All

by Dr. Gunnar Alksnis

Ludwig Klages is without a doubt one of the most intriguing and enigmatic pagan metaphysicians of the modern era. His radical rejection of monotheism in favor of a pandaemonic chthonic Gnosis derived through primordial states of consciousness makes him a figure of great controversy. Klages masterfully expounded his holistic vision of the ensouled cosmos in diverse areas such as metaphysics, philosophy, mysticism, psychology and graphology. A driving force in the Cosmic Circle of German mystics he greatly influenced many important contemporaries such as Stefan George, Walter Benjamin, Adorno and Horkheimer, Karl Jaspers, Hermann Hesse, Heidegger and C.G. Jung. Misinterpreted, vilified and slandered, Klages, the ‘highpriest of the irrational’, remains virtually unknown in the English speaking world although his work may have never been more relevant.

Based on his never before published 1970 PhD thesis, the late Professor Dr. Gunnar Alksnis’ groundbreaking Chthonic Gnosis: Ludwig Klages and his Quest for the Pandaemonic All presents the most complete and fascinating treatise on Ludwig Klages and his work available in English to date. The book will feature an introduction by the leading expert on Klages and the Cosmic Circle in the English speaking world, Professor Paul Bishop.

On the author: Dr. Gunnar Alksnis was born in Riga, Latvia in 1931 and moved to the USA with his family in 1949. He received his Bachelor of Divinity degree from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia South Carolina in 1955 and was ordained at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Russell County, Ks in 1956. Gunnar received a Master of Sacred Theology from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia in 1965, and completed his Doctorate of Philosophy at Kansas State University in 1970 with his thesis on Ludwig Klages. Professor Alksnis taught theology at Washburn University, KS for 30 years until his retirement. A well respected historian, professor, minister and author he passed away in 2011.

Release Date: August 2015. Update (October 2015): The book is now in stock and shipping, you can order your copy here: Chthonic Gnosis

The Faceless God

by Dr. Tomas Vincente

In the present study, Dr. Tomas Vincente examines the ‘fictional’ figure of Nyarlathotep from an initiated perspective, revealing hitherto unexplored connections between the visionary dreams of H.P. Lovecraft and the lore of European witchcraft and Satanism. In addition to presenting the groundwork for a potent system of left hand practice, Dr. Vincente provides a compelling case for the Egyptian roots of European witch-lore. He demonstrates that the mysteries of the Devil’s psychopomp are distorted reflections of the ancient cults of Osiris and his dark emissary, Anubis.

Dr. Vincente outlines two complementary approaches to the reification of the dream cult of Nyarlathotep. One path engages the faceless god through a left hand path re-envisioning of the iconography of the Egyptian cult of the dead; the other path appropriates the traditional European symbolism of the Witches’ Sabbath. Both currents operate through methods of controlled delirium and ritual transgression and are exceedingly dangerous if improperly understood and executed. This is a work of advanced theory and practice, intended for serious students of the sinister path.

On the author: Dr. Tomas Vincente is a scholar of ancient religion, magic and esotericism. His past work explores the emergence of Christian monotheism and the resulting decline of the chthonic cults of the ancient Mediterranean and Near East. He is dedicated to recovering the integrity of this archaic spirituality of blood and fire, which has been demonized by the Abrahamic religions for two millennia.

Release Date: Spring / early Summer 2016.
